A Wealth of Experience

Kia ora. I’m Jonathan Briden. I’ve spent over 30 years teaching spontaneity and improvisation to organisations across New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the US, and South America. I’m an accredited Theatresports™ teacher, and have previously worked in corporate training with Impro Australia.

I also have significant experience in the corporate world, having worked for 15 years in IT for large, blue-chip companies in Australia, including Qantas, Telstra, Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), Johnson and Johnson medical, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and many more.

Combining my knowledge as a teacher and performer, my insights into corporate culture, and my passion for people, I am one of New Zealand’s most knowledgeable practitioners of Applied Improvisation.

My passion for the work is part of the secret to the results I have been able to achieve. I have seen participants in my workshops make huge gains in confidence, social skills, empathy, initiative, public speaking, and overall life satisfaction.
